In memory of Irina Yun

We are sad to have lost one of our artist exhibitors and dear friend, Irina Yun. Mother of Liann, photograpahic artist and graphic designer, Irina went missing the last day of 2008, she set out to trek the Cascade Saddle track from Mt Aspiring Hut in the West Matukituki Valley, due to bad weather conditions she never arrived at the Dart Hut on the Dart River, the South Island.

Irina is greatly missed to her family, friends and community, her daughter attends the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School. Irina put time and her creative energy into the school her daughter attends, she also created felted fashion accesssories for the market held monthly in Titirangi.Her stunning photographs inspired by New Zealands beauty, can be viewed on her flickr album, here...
